My name is Tasha Rolle and I am fundraising for my dad, Franklyn Rolle. Those who know my dad, know that he is a kind-hearted and honest man. He greets every stranger with a warm smile and with the age-old question “Where ya people from?”. He is very proud of his roots in Cat Island and tells many stories of what it was like growing up in McQueens and Devil’s Point. Those who know me, know that I’m a daddy’s girl. They know that throughout my life he has been a protector, a provider, an advisor, a supporter, a friend, a handyman and more.

A few months ago, my dad began experiencing an unusual pain. An examination by his doctor revealed that there was cause for concern. What followed was blood work, a referral to specialists, an MRI and multiple biopsies. And, after months of uncertainty, a diagnosis was given – a diagnosis of Stage 3 Prostate Cancer.

Those who have faced this diagnosis know that treatment must begin as soon as possible to prevent spreading of the cancer to other organs. However, we have exhausted all of our finances to get to this point. With this in mind, I humbly ask for your support in raising $50,000 BSD to urgently begin the journey of treatment and recovery. We appreciate every donation, regardless of the amount.
